An Overgrown Ambition

Saint Mocianne's Arboretum was once home to the greatest collection of flora and fauna the realm had ever known. Alas, in the wake of the Exodus it has since been abandoned, the teeming life within now roaming the halls with reckless abandon. A band of treasure hunters would pierce the heart of this leafy labyrinth in search of treasure, a treasure they claim would be a boon to Idyllshire. But will this savage garden yield fortune, or folly?

Bosses

Rose Garden

During the boss fight, when the boss is about to unleash his spinning breath attack, he will also summon small adds that cannot be targeted. These adds have their own small breath attacks, but luckily they do not spin. It is important to note that the boss will randomly spin either clockwise or counterclockwise, so it's crucial to pay attention to his direction. Additionally, starting from the second spinning breath attack, the boss will summon Rose Hips, which have a balloon-like appearance. These Rose Hips must be eliminated swiftly to prevent them from exploding and causing damage to the entire raid. To navigate this encounter successfully, remember to avoid the boss's breath attacks and prioritize killing the Rose Hip adds.

Queen Hawk

In the room, several bees fly randomly around the edges. They will target players and unleash a column AoE attack that must be avoided. When the Queen uses 'Ally', the bees will gather in two groups along the edge and launch a double column AoE attack without any ground marker. Since the bees blend in with the walls, it is important to pay attention and move out of the way in time. As the fight progresses, Knight Hawk bee adds will appear and connect to the boss. This is a DPS check, as the boss will inflict raid-wide damage that increases in strength each time. Therefore, it is crucial to defeat the adds quickly. To summarize the key instructions: do not stand in front of the bees, kill the Knight Hawk adds, and use the Blue Mage spell 'Avail'.

Belladonna

The boss in this encounter has several notable attacks. The first is a large area-of-effect attack that can only be avoided by standing next to the boss. Fortunately, there is enough time to run towards the boss and avoid the attack without any trouble. After this, the boss will summon Bulbs that place ground area-of-effect attacks which give you a debuff that increases your vulnerability to magic. At the same time, the boss will start casting Frond Fatale, a move that charms you into running inside the Bulbs' area-of-effect attacks to receive the debuff. To prevent being charmed, you must look away from the boss; however, be aware that the casting time for Frond Fatale is quite short. Additionally, there is another area-of-effect attack that covers the entire room and deals around 4K damage. The boss also summons adds that can be targeted and need to be defeated. To summarize the key strategies for this encounter: avoid standing in yellow circles and look away from the boss when Frond Fatale is being cast.
